Farm Pickup (Indian Mound) Mondays Tuesdays 2025
Pick up at the farm begins April 28th and continues for 20 weeks to September 8th. Starting this year, you will have the option to pickup pre-packaged shares Monday (3-7pm) or Tuesday (9am-7pm) from our walk-in cooler. This should better serve folks who had difficulty making it to the Tuesday afternoon only pickup we have done in years past. Choose from 5, 7, or 9 item shares. Example “items”- 1 basket berries, 1 head cauliflower, 1 bag lettuce, 1 melon, 1 bag potatoes, 1 bunch carrots, 2-3 tomatoes, 3-4 cucumbers, 1 bag green beans, etc.
The Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program is an invitation for you to take part in seasonal eating and connection with your food source. From berries, lettuce, and carrots in spring, to melons, tomatoes, and beans in summer, each week members visit the farm and receive their share of that week’s harvest of fruits, vegetables, flowers, and/or herbs. Members report their delight in discovering new-to-them varieties, from purple potatoes to golden beets! We also encourage our members to interact with the farm during the growing season, from studying tadpoles in the spring to digging potatoes in summer. Our educational activities are for all ages. We support positive connections between farming, food, and health!
